Visiting Disneyland theme park should be a day of fun and laughter for many.
But in Florida, a PHILADELPHIA woman is suing Disneyland after she claimed that she was groped by Donald Duck at Walt Disney World in Florida is suing the amusement park.
Well, is this a case of opportunist or a case of emotion compensation? No one would know this better than Miss April Magolon.
The following is the news:
April Magolon of Upper Darby filed the suit against Disney in July, claiming negligence, battery and infliction of emotional distress. She is seeking more than $US50,000 in damages, according to legal papers posted on the Smoking Gun website today.
The alleged incident happened in May 2008, when Ms Magolon said she was approached by a Disney employee wearing a Donald Duck costume who grabbed her breast and then made “gestures” making a joke of the groping, myFOXphilly.com reported.
The suit also points to previous incidents at the park, including a 2004 incident when two people were assaulted by someone dressed as Tigger.
Would this be a lesson to Disneyland ?
