Rathmullan House, Donegal

June 18th, 2010

Rathmullan House, Donegal in Ireland was one of the hotel that I loved. The hotel was built in 1820s and currently operated by the Wheeler Brothers and their wives for more than 30 years.

The hotel offers a thirty two cosy rooms for customers to stay in. There were a series of interconnecting living rooms that includes a bar and a mini library. It is just a great place for family to have some teas and gathering.

The hotel’s award-winning Weeping Elm restaurant offers great dishes to customers.

The hotel surrounding scenery was beautiful and enhanced by the  Loch Swilly and its sandy beach is just great for outdoor activities.

Rathmullan was rated as one of the prettiest villages in Donegal by their people.
